notebooks

I thought I’d post a picture of some of my rather colourful collection of notebooks, as organization is on my mind at the moment. Why? I’ve just started an MA (Master of Arts) degree that is 100% research (as opposed to coursework) and I’m of the opinion that the more organized I am about the whole process, the better things will be. So, notebooks, books about time investment (rather good), thesis writing and conference/journal paper writing are taking up my time these days. And, of course, the actual research ;). I’ve written an honours year thesis before, which was around 17 000 words, and I’ve done Nanowrimo before (50 000 words) and this thesis is going to be 50-60000 words so we’ll see how it goes. The working title of the research is When culture and technology collide: the performance and mining of social identity. Should be awesome :).
